FAQ: What is the status of SMT following the Inveniam acquisition?

Following the acquisition, the SwarmX team is focused on the SwarmX platform and its products, whereas the company has announced the sunsetting of it's products.

The SMT token is governed by the Swarm Markets DAO and is not part of the SwarmX team’s scope. For that reason, there are a few things we are not in a position to comment on:

• Inveniam’s plans: We cannot speak on behalf of Inveniam or comment on its strategy, roadmap or any plans it may have regarding SMT.
• SMT utility and mechanisms (staking, rewards, fee benefits, burns): These fall under the Swarm Markets DAO. We have no knowledge of any changes to them.
• New use cases or an SMT roadmap: It is not the SwarmX team’s role to develop or publish roadmaps for SMT. Any future direction for the token would come through the Swarm Markets DAO and its governance process.
